This is the photograph of the weathered barn with a laid stone foundation in a field in Warwick that Steven Carras took while on a drive with a friend when they were in their late teens. “We had ventured north from suburban New Jersey one day on a sort of photographic safari and ended up in Orange County. The back of the photo says simply: near Warwick, NY. I spent many years traveling around the Warwick area hoping to see that barn again - without success,” Carras wrote.
