Dear Warwick Valley CSD Community,
As another school year begins, I am reminded of how much goes on behind the scenes to prepare our schools and students for success. After a busy and productive summer, our district continues to move forward with important work, including the ongoing implementation of our capital project approved in December 2025. You have probably noticed construction activity throughout the district—the trucks, cranes, and the improvement projects going on; that work represents a significant investment in the future of our schools and community.
At the same time, our administrators, teachers, and staff have been preparing for the year ahead by strengthening our academic programs and finding ways to provide every student with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. Education is a partnership between home and school, and we value the communication, support, and collaboration that make that partnership so important. As always, we remain committed to creating safe, welcoming, and nurturing schools where every student feels supported, challenged, and valued.
It is important to reflect on where we have been while staying focused on where we are going. Over the past decade, the Warwick Valley Central School District has accomplished things that once seemed out of reach. We have continued to grow academically, athletically, artistically, and through the many opportunities we provide our students. That success is something to be proud of, but it is not a reason to become complacent. Our goal must always be to improve, challenge ourselves, and find new ways to serve every student.
I often reflect on the words that appear on the signs outside each of our school buildings: “Great Community, Great Schools.” One thing that makes Warwick a special place is the strength of our schools, and our schools’ success is rooted in the community that stands behind them. We should never take that relationship for granted.
Finally, on behalf of the Board of Education, I extend my sincere appreciation to everyone whose hard work and dedication make each school year possible. Our administration, teachers and faculty, principals and associate principals, support staff, bus drivers, monitors, custodians, facilities staff, PTAs, volunteers, and others all play an important role in our success.
And to our community, thank you for your continued support of our students, our schools, and the Warwick Valley Central School District. We are fortunate to have a community that cares deeply about its children and recognizes that the strength of our schools and community are inseparable.
