The Orange County Chamber of Commerce welcomed business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across the region to its fifth annual Women M.E.A.N. Business event on June 4 at Winding Hills Golf Club in Montgomery. Centered on the theme “Give to Gain,” keynote speaker Dr. Andi Simon encouraged attendees to embrace change, remain open to new opportunities and learn from the experiences of others, highlighting the power of mentorship, authentic connections and shared wisdom in creating personal and professional growth.

”Five years ago, we set out to create a meaningful space where women could connect, learn from one another, share experiences and leave feeling empowered,” said Heather Bell, president and CEO of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. “What began as an idea has grown into one of the Chamber’s signature programs and, more importantly, a community where relationships are formed, opportunities are created and inspiration is shared. This year’s theme, ‘Give to Gain,’ reflects a truth many of us have experienced throughout our careers: when we invest in others through mentorship, encouragement and authentic connection, we all gain something in return.”

In recognition of the event’s fifth anniversary, the chamber welcomed back each of its previous keynote speakers, including Maureen Halahan, former President and CEO of Orange County Partnership; Lori Pine, founder of The Joy CEO, whose mission is to empower women to find joy and create a legacy of fulfillment; and Anna Gibbs, Executive Leadership Coach and Consultant. Together, they shared lessons on leadership, personal growth and the importance of building meaningful relationships.

A highlight of the celebration was the presentation of the inaugural Meaningful Impact Award, established to recognize an individual whose leadership, service and commitment to lifting others reflects the values of Women M.E.A.N. Business. The Chamber honored Vicki Masquinardi, assistant vice president and branch manager at Orange Bank & Trust Company, for her dedication to mentoring others, building connections and strengthening the community through service and leadership.
