Kaley Grace Smith of Warwick passed away suddenly at Westchester Medical Center on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, the day before her 15th birthday.
Born in Warwick on Dec. 13, 2005, she was the daughter of Kerryann Smith and John O’Leary.
Kaley is survived by her mother Kerryann Smith and sister Kara Ver Hage at home.
Kaley was a beautiful angel who enjoyed dancing, music and painting with her mom and sister. She loved all her creative projects that she made with her teachers.
Her infectious smiles lit up every room.
Kaley’s presence touched everyone who knew her and brought out the best in people.
Kaley had many people who loved and supported her including her maternal grandparents Chris and Maureen Smith, Peggy O’Leary, Uncles Chris, Kevin, James and Brian, aunts, 16 cousins, nurses, teachers and friends.
Kaley was a fighter who defied all the odds she was given from the time she was diagnosed. She will be in our hearts forever.
The family received friends for memorial visitation on Dec. 19 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
