Walton Lake: Lakes Road, Monroe
Fish for bass, panfish, chain pickerel and brown trout on this 117-acre lake, which features a boat launch (no gas motors) and is stocked with 3,700 brown trout each spring. The shallow water on the northeast and southwest ends are good places to try for both bass and trout. A small parking lot and boat launch are located across from the American Legion
Glenmere Lake: Mayor Harter Lane, Florida
Glenmere Lake, located in the Village of Florida, is a shallow weedy lake that provides anglers with some shore access, but is perfect for a small rowboat or canoe. The 309-acre lake is home to bass, pickerel, crappie, perch, bluegills and brown bullheads. Park passes are required, which are free to Florida residents, $5 for Town of Warwick residents, and $50 for a non-resident season pass.
Winding Hills Park: 1847 Route 17K, Montgomery
A 40-acre lake and a four-acre pond are both available at Winding Hills for fishing from the shoreline or in a boat on the lake. Only electric-motor, solid bottom and car-top boats are permitted. Fishing is catch and release only. Anglers can find bass, crappie, catfish, sunfish and perch.
