The Warwick Democratic Committee will host a “Lucky Pick” and cocktails fund raiser on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m.

“Lucky Pick” is a one-of-a-kind raffle that guarantees that every ticket holder goes home with a unique item or service from a local artist, craftsperson or business.

The donated items for “picking” will feature works by some of Warwick’s most talented artists. Items include original artworks by Timothy Hull, Roz Fassett, Rebecca Pry, Zoë Cone and Phyllis Lehman; jewelry from Lisa Cullen; and pottery from Andy Boswell.

Art and services continue to be donated so that every Lucky Pick ticket holder will be able to choose an item.

How it works: “Lucky Pick” ticket holders will draw a number that determines the order in which they get to take their pick from the donated items.

If you’d just like to attend and enjoy the food, drink and conversation, or are coming along with a “Lucky Picker,” there is special ticket pricing.

Funds raised will go toward the Warwick Democratic Committee’s Get Out The Vote initiatives, assisting and inspiring eligible voters in casting their votes in elections at all levels of government.

“Lucky Pick” tickets are limited and must be purchased by Oct 1. The fundraiser is being held at a private residence.

Purchase your ticket online at warwick-lucky-pick.eventbrite.com. For more information, or to submit an item for picking, contact Kory Trolio at ktrolio@gmail.com or call 845-258-3220.
