Youth basketball and that ‘community feeling'

To the editor: My son Taylor and I participated in the Youth Basketball League this winter. I coached my son’s team sponsored by Penning’s Plumbing and Heating. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Carole Redner who organizes and runs the league. I would also like to extend my thanks to the referees, timekeepers and everyone else who helped to make the season a success. The community feeling it gave me and my son will last within us and the rest of our teammates. We look forward to next year and another satisfying, fun-filled season. Thank you, Carole, for your non-stop enthusiasm and commitment as a volunteer in our community. (PS: Stop by the Little League concession stand and say “Hi” to Carole.
