‘We need your help'

To the editor: On Earth Day, April 21, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Operation Clean Sweep, the official townwide roadside litter cleanup day. The Warwick Town Board and the Warwick Partnership for a Quality Community Committee encourage all of the town’s not-for-profit volunteer organizations or interested citizens to enlist in this spring cleanup. Your involvement will make a huge improvement. Simply pre-register the road(s) you’re willing to clean by contacting coordinator Lisa Montanaro at 988-0183 or at lisa@lmorganizingsolutions.com. You may use your own garbage bags or free bags will be available at the Warwick Valley Chamber Caboose between 8 a.m. and noon on Saturday, April 21. The DPW will pick up the filled garbage bags beginning Monday, April 23.
