Warwick freshmen display sportsmanship

To the editor: I drove down from Pennsylvania on Monday, Nov. 6, to see my son play Warwick Freshman football against Monroe-Woodbury. They very gracefully lost. Upon leaving the stands, Monroe-Woodbury marched off the field, chanting profanity toward Warwick, even pushing one of my children out of the way. This behavior continued while they left the parking lot, hanging out the bus windows. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I was of Warwick Freshman football players on how they walked off the field in such sportsmanship manner. I believe the team should be recognized for this and by making Warwick very proud. Lorraine Enste Honesdale, Pa.
