The progress that still must be done'

To the editor: I must say “Thank You” to Mrs. Coretta Scott King. On Monday, Jan. 30th, we lost a great person, a great woman, a woman who helped lift the spirits, courage and strength of an even greater man, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Both fought through civil change in American history. Both sacrificed. Both opened doors and minds to form us into what, and where we are today. I am here because of Mrs. King. Our loss is only a reminder that we as a people must not forget the ample progress, and progress that still must be done. So again, I must say “thank you,” Mrs. Coretta Scott King, for allowing me to be who I am and where I am. Cedric Glasper President/CEO Mechanical Rubber Products Warwick
