The mayor's salary is $25,528

To the editor: This is in response to Mr. Mocarsky’s Jan. 27, 2006 letter. Mayor Newhard’s gross salary is $25,528 a year, not $36,000 as stated in his letter. He contributed $2,433 in medical insurance and contributes the same amount as all village employees. He does not receive free medical benefits.
