‘The extraordinary support of our local business people'

To the editor: On Saturday, May 6, Christ Church in the Village of Warwick hosted its sixth annual “Spring Tea and Jazz” fund raiser. We welcomed guests from all over our community and beyond who enjoyed an afternoon of wonderful food and great jazz. A balloon raffle of goods and services from local businesses helped raise needed funds to continue the work of the parish, including our community outreach efforts. The success of this event, and the balloon raffle in particular, was due in large part to the extraordinary support of our local business people who once again this year extended themselves with superior generosity. On behalf of the staff and congregation of Christ Church of Warwick, I extend our sincerest thanks to the following merchants and businesses: Eclectic Eye, Who’s On First, Penra, Halligan’s Public House, A Pair of Shades, Landmark Inn, Bink, Michael Wagenseil and Mountain Creek, Rhiele Opticians, Kuiken Brothers, Curves, The Pear Tree, Village Music, Forever Jewelers, Toy Chest, Barnsider Restaurant, G’s Restaurant, Lycian Theatre, Avanti, Interiors Plus, Luci’s, Yesterday’s, Liz II, The Bookstore, Frazzleberries, Zana D Restaurant, Dautaj Restaurant, UPS of Vernon, N.J., Cathe Linton Designs, Calla Lily Bridal, Spring Street Market, Style Counsel, Frontier Lanes, Caffe a la Mode, Wadeson’s, Penning’s Farm Market, La Petite Cuisine, Victorian Treasures, Beverage Plus, Greetings and Salutations, Nail Spa, Harvest Luncheonette, Jessica Guilfoyle Designs, Abbie Opper of Longerberger Baskets, Sue Watson of Davis Real Estate, General’s Garden, Inkwell, Pioneer Restaurant, Frank’s Pizza, Olde World Bakery, Bill Leech and Backyard Grill.
