Thanks to the generosity of the Warwick community'

To the editor: I recently organized a food and supply drive for the Warwick Valley Humane Society as my Eagle Service project. The project was a great success and I’d like to thank many for their support: Troop 45 Scouts, leaders and parents who helped with the project. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for sponsoring the Troop and for letting me use the facilities. Warwick Press for donating photocopies. ShopRite of Warwick for donating plastic bags and food for the volunteers. Benito’s Pizzeria and Restaurant for donating food for the volunteers. Thanks to the generosity of the Warwick community, Scouts from Troop 45 collected more than 1,500 pounds of food and supplies for the Humane Society. I would like to thank the Warwick Valley Humane Society. The animal shelter has served our community since 1968, providing a clean, safe place for stray, abandoned and abused animals. Because the shelter is a non-profit organization, always in need of food, supplies and funds. I ask that you support the shelter in any way that you can. Sincerely, Will Hutchison Eagle Scout candidate Troop 45, Warwick
