To the editor: On behalf of the Kings Elementary PTA, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in our annual Kings Karnival. The Karnival was held on Saturday, Sept. 30, on a cool autumn day. The Kings Karnival is a fun day full of games, crafts and refreshments. Kings students are always welcomed back to school by this event. The success of the Karnival is due in large to the wonderful support of our many volunteers. We would like to thank the dozens of parent, teacher and staff volunteers who gave their time and talent to help make the Kings Karnival a success. Your support is truly appreciated. We would also like to acknowledge the energy and enthusiasm displayed by the many Middle School and High School volunteers who also gave their time and talent working at the Karnival - they set a fine example for the students at Kings. It is always a pleasure to have former Kings’ students return to volunteer at the Karnival. Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the merchants and businesses of Warwick, Chester, Sugar Loaf and Florida for their generous donations of goods and services to our popular raffle table. Without the willingness of these businesses to help out our school, year after year, the Kings PTA would not be able to do all that it does. Thank you for your continued support.
