To the editor: As of Wednesday, Sept. 20, new owners will be taking over the Bellvale General Store. We thank of all of you who supported us, whether it was for a cup of coffee and a daily treat, an order of hot soup or a weekly cold cut order. You are the folks that kept us going - and you know who you are. Our hope is that this landmark treasure that has operated as a mom-and-pop business for close to 100 years will continue for another 100 so that your children will be able to take their children to the little country store, the heartbeat of Bellvale.
