Thanks for making the place a better world for all creatures

To the editor: The members of the Warwick Valley Humane Society would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who made our 2007 Raffle fund raiser the most successful one to date. We are deeply grateful to the merchants who so graciously opened their doors to me in support of our efforts on behalf of the discarded, neglected and abandoned pets in our community that depend on us for a helping hand and the opportunity for a bright new beginning. Our grateful appreciation to the management and staff at Warwick and Chester ShopRites, Chester Tractor Supply, Laurie and Ann at Northern Bear Pet Supply, Jerry and the gang at Red Barn, Tom Cunningham at the Greenwood Lake Post Office, our dear friends at Wadeson’s Home Center, Penny Steyer from Penra’s Liquor Store and Mark and Caroline at the New Milford Deli who always insist that I start the sale date with breakfast on the house. You are all terrific and your clientele continue to be generous, compassionate and genuinely pleased to support Warwick Humane. Warmest thanks to all our ticket purchasers and congratulations to our lucky winners: Kerran Bancroft, the Mascing family and Mrs. Graf, all Warwick residents.
