Thank you for your kindness

To the editor: On Saturday, March 24, my friends from Orange Ulster BOCES, Golden Hill Elementary and Clayton Delaneys held a benefit for me and my family at the Washington Heights Fire Department in Middletown. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months ago. I cannot begin to tell you what this meant to us. Not only did they hold this benefit, but every night since I have gotten sick, someone has brought a hot meal to us and has always been there when I needed a ride to one of my many doctor’s appointments. We have been overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness and generosity. I can’t tell you how lucky I am to live and work in such an amazing community. Thank you to everyone for their thoughtfulness, prayers and generosity. Gina Robinson Warwick
