Sweeton - a friend not a politician

To the editor: The contest for Warwick town supervisor this Nov. 6 is no contest at all, at least for me. I’ll be voting for Michael Sweeton. Here’s why: I’ve known Michael since he was a high school boy in Warwick High School. He was always an honest young man, very forthcoming and a very hard worker. From what I can see, he has conducted himself in the office of town supervisor for the past six years in the same manner. There are very few politicians about whom you can say you’ve never heard anything bad. Michael Sweeton is one of those few. But, then, he’s not really a politician; he’s a friend to all of us; he’s a good man, devoting a lot of time to public service and representing all of us to the best of his abilities.
