Supports Alvarez-Backus for Florida School Board

To the editor:I urge all Florida School District voters to vote for Mr. Blaine Alvarez-Backus for school board. Our district hasn’t improved under the incumbents’ watch, while our property taxes have increased at a rate three times greater than inflation. Blaine will work to improve the district and also lobby both the state and county legislatures to change how schools are financed to provide much-needed tax relief for property owners in this district.
