Supporting the library referendum
To the editor: The library is a place that offers equal access to all. I am thinking especially of the children and how they use the library. As we know not all children have access to books and the Internet at home. Some of the less fortunate children do not have an opportunity to Google or access on line encyclopedias to gather data for school work. However, the public library has all the facilities a child could want. The present situation offers our children only a very small space in the library basement. The upcoming library referendum vote will change this. The new library will offer a wonderful space for the children, the future of our splendid democracy. I urge all to vote “yes” on Thursday, March 8, at the Church Street Firehouse. Griffis Fassett Warwick
