Supporting a good idea'
To the editor: I am going to vote for the referendum in March because a library is such a good idea. You can go to a book store - the big ones even have good coffee - and spend a lot of time looking at the wonderful books and videos they have there but you can’t just take them home for a week or so. There’s a catch: You have to buy them, which might be a problem. But at the library, you spend time looking (okay, there’s no coffee) and you can take a pile of books home to enjoy and, as I fondly remember, my children would have a pile of their own to take along, too, maybe after they had been to “Story Hour.” I have lived in Warwick for a long time now and have always felt very lucky that we have such a good public library. This is very important for a community. And now, we have to face the fact that there has been amazing growth in the community and we need a larger facility for us all to use and enjoy. I hope that we can all support this “good idea.” Ann Jordan Warwick
