Supplying food pantries

| 28 Sep 2011 | 03:02

To the Editor: On Saturday, Oct. 29, the 4-H Orange County Hare Raisers went to Lupinski’s farm in Pine Island to harvest potatoes and a variety of squash to help supply the food pantries in the area. The hare raisers do this as a service to the community in an effort to help the food pantries provide good meals for those in need. This year went well, and the hare raisers once again filled the truck with a variety of good produce. We would like extend our appreciation to Lupinski farm for their part in making it all possible.
