Some post election thoughts
To the editor: First of all, I know now how it feels to loose by a teeny-weeny margin. And it does not feel good. I thank Mr. Allen, Foley and a bunch of others whose inability to shut up, not to take bribes and keep their hands off under-age male staffers has made this election defeat possible. I know that my life under Democratic domination will get much worse. But somehow I don’t feel bad. Why is that? That is because I also believe that stupidity must be punished, even though my party and I will be paying the price. And here is a warning to the top of Republican leadership: We as a group are still better than Democrats but understand that it is important to get rid of bad apples on the ground level before these rotten spoilers end up on the top of the tree where it is difficult to knock them down.
