To the editor: Brian Goodrich, a Boy Scout of Troop #152, completed his eagle project on Oct. 29, Oct. 30, and Nov. 5, in the village of Florida at the ice skating rink on Meadow Avenue. Brian’s project consisted of building a new and improved platform for the rink, as well as a firepit. New benches were added to provide comfort to residents of the community who frequent the rink. Brian would like to invite all residents of the village of Florida to enjoy the ice rink and its new comforts. Brian Goodrich has been in scouting for almost 10 years and hopes to achieve his Eagle Badge in the months ahead. He is proud to give back to his community, and would like to thank all of the local businesses that contributed to his project.
