Santa is not allowed in my school, either
To the editor: My name is Victoria. I am a Pine Island Elementary student. I think that Santa should be allowed in all schools because Santa is not a religious figure. He is simply a magical person who spreads holiday cheer and gives gifts and it is when family members get together to have a good time and visit that I also love him. If this one mother is going to not allow Santa to come to Sanfordville Elementary School, then why can’t any other school have Santa? Since any of the Warwick schools can’t have Santa the teachers at my school came up with Jingle-Toobey Fair. Jingle is a holiday character who is not religious or a holiday and Toobey Fair means to be fair to everyone. I don’t think this is really fair because even my Jewish friend celebrates Christmas by having Santa come to theire house and deliver presents and still does the Menorah. I think Santa Clause should be allowed in all the schools. Thank you for reading my letter. Victoria Alison Constantine Garloch P.S. My mom knows I wrote this letter to you.
