To the editor: Fund raising for Warwick Valley High School’s Project Graduation is in full swing. There are many upcoming events being planned in which we will need your help. There will be another Tricky Tray in the Spring. Our last one was a huge success thanks to all who participated. We will again be asking senior parents to donate a basket. If interested please call. We will be canvassing parents in February and March for this fund raiser. We had more than 160 baskets to bid on in October. Everyone attending had a great time. The Cablethon will be scheduled shortly. The Cablethon is one of the major fund-raising events for the All Night Party. These events take a lot of work to be a success, so please come to the meetings and help out. Lastly we will be planning another Lottery drawing. If you do not want or cannot sell your tickets, please return them. We could have raised a larger amount if tickets had been returned. Project Graduation is a major undertaking by WVHS Senior Parents to give their child an All-Night alcohol- and drug-free party on graduation night. The fund raisers pay for entertainment and gifts. Payment for the ticket to the Spa is $100 per student, which is due shortly. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 16, at 7 p.m. in the WVHS North Café. Check your local papers for upcoming events and news and also check the WVHS Web site — and click on Project Graduation. All information and forms can be downloaded from this site.
