Pillmeier makes his case for re-election

To the editor, I am Michael R. Pillmeier, your representative for county government in Goshen. I am the guy who has voted to have the county share sales tax revenue with our municipalities in an effort NOT to raise property taxes. The county does not have to do this. I am the legislator who has brought parkland money back to Warwick, Minisink and Florida. I am the guy who just got the county to help farmers with $100,000 for cleaning Quaker Creek. I voted for property tax exemptions for volunteer firefighters and EMS volunteers. I have and will continue to work with our state officials to seek another way to fund school taxes. I have always responded to the needs and concerns from all our residents. I have honored our veterans by voting to eliminate burial fees in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery. I have helped to make sure funding is available for open space. I want to continue to work for the people in Legislative District 3. I urge all of you to Vote Republican, Row A, on Nov.8.
