Penny for what?
To the editor: Penny Steyer played a leading role in an unsuccessful attempt to take CVS property from the rightful owner-a mother of two. She coldly demanded elected officials take the CVS property for some wide-eyed economic scheme that she could never explain or nor justify. Even so, damn the family, damn the taxpayers! Later in a tortuous letter, dated Feb. 21, 2005, to the Town of Warwick Planning Board, Penny Steyer declared that the planning board should correct some malfeasance that she imagined she unearthed in some federal court case. Because of her doubtful reading of federal law, the town was then suppose to stop a competing grocery store from opening across from ShopRite next to the bowling alley. Thankfully, Warwick couldn’t oblige her. The Penny is tarnished! Stan Mocarsky Warwick
