More reasons 'Warwick is a special place'

As is often the case when you publicly thank people, you forget some important help you received. As the storm was winding down and we needed some overnight accommodations for eight evacuees, I called Rev. Ken Ten Eyck of the Warwick Conference Center, who without hesitation offered space at Camp Warwick. Not only did he and his staff prepare the beds, they also fed those folks for four days until we could move them to the Red Cross Shelter. St. Anthony Community Hospital and Joie Ogrodnick also stepped up to provide me with pillows and blankets for the senior center in case we needed it as a temporary shelter. These great community members are another reason Warwick is a special place. Michael Sweeton Warwick Town Supervisor
