Middle School PTA: Nothing but good news

To the editor: There is always something wonderful about the community coming together to support a worthy cause and this year’s 21st Annual Warwick Valley Middle School PTA December Craft Fair was no exception. Attendees where treated to a variety of art from wood works to pottery, glass and oil painting to homemade soups, lovely floral arrangements and handmade soaps. Student clubs who also raised funds on the day included the Junior FFA with their fresh wreaths and the High School Crew Club. Local Boy and Girl Scout troops were also invited to participate to help their organizations. The weather cooperated beautifully and the Winding Through Warwick Tour along with the Festival Tree events made for a terrific first Saturday for visitors to Warwick. The Craft Fair committee would like to thank Middle School Principal John Kolesar, the front office staff who never complained about the phone calls, the maintenance crew who ably and cheerfully responded to every request and to the food service department for their continuous support during the event. A special shout out to Jackie’s Deli, C&D Old World Bagel and Bravo Pizza, our community business partners, who help us to bring quality, local food to our shoppers. Thank you all and may you have a prosperous and Happy New Year! Lisa Pearce Warwick Valley Middle School PTA
