Michael Sweeton has expanded services for Warwick's seniors

Michael Sweeton has been a very effective leader for the Town of Warwick and has been a true advocate for the needs of senior citizens. During his tenure as supervisor, Mr. Sweeton expanded the operations of the municipal bus service, providing a lifeline for seniors to the grocery store and doctor appointments. Michael also was instrumental in the construction of the Senior Center. This facility offers a safe, central meeting place and is enjoyed by the very active senior groups throughout the town. Through his diligence, he was able to procure grant money from HUD to help defray the construction costs. Dedicated to fiscal responsibility, Michael has worked hard at maintaining a stable tax rate for the past nine years, a crucial factor for seniors living on a fixed income. And let’s not forget the wonderful senior picnic that Michael and his team host for more than 700 seniors each summer. He shows his gratitude to the seniors and honors them for all that they have done and continue to do for the community. Support Michael Sweeton and re-elect him town supervisor. Thank you.
