Lost and found pets

When our beloved black cat Nico disappeared last month, I did many, many things to try to find him. One of the more obvious things was to contact the Animal Shelter. During that call, I was surprised to learn that the Warwick Valley Humane Society keeps data on both lost and found pets. I knew they rescued and cared for abandoned animals, but I didn’t know they provided a networking service. So, please, if you see an unfamiliar dog, cat, domestic rabbit or ferret near your home, make sure to let the kind, dedicated, tireless folks at the local Humane Society (986-2473) know about it. You might be instrumental in reuniting a heartbroken family with their lost loved one. Dr. Deborah Bernstein Warwick
