'You will never be forgotten'
This past Christmas Eve was bittersweet for my family and our Hospice team from Orange County.
We all worked together caring for my dad, Willy, these past 11 months at Schervier Nursing home in Warwick.
Hospice's professionalism and open loving hearts gave my dad the extra comfort care when needed.
We want to send our love and gratefulness to each of you:
• Nurses Judy and Janine, Social Worker Tiffany, Aides Tricia (Willy's crush) and Melody, Father Bill, Sister Ann and volunteer Hospice visitors Nancy and Mary.
• We are also thankful to our special Hospice Veterans of Foreign Wars for all of Willy's service certificates, hats, pins, beautiful handmade blanket, teddy bears, scarf and hat, all made by a beautiful woman.
It brightened his and our hearts.
• To Schervier's receptionists, chefs, cleaners, laundry staff, aids and volunteers - we want you all to know that you were noticed for loving hearts and we admire you for that.
• Also to the three most awesome women, who work daily in the activity room with our older generation, you show them kindness, love and patience which came naturally from you girls.
God Bless all the above that were mentioned, you will never be forgotten.
