We’re dreaming of a new playground - and could use your help

This holiday season, Warwick Playground Dreams invites you to give the gift of play.
As part of its fund-raising effort for a new inclusive playground at Stanley-Deming Park, Warwick Playground Dreams is offering engraved bricks and pickets as well as playground component sponsorships.
Engraved with loving messages, names of family members or favorite quotations, the bricks will be incorporated into a walkway alongside the playground.
This is a perfect way to give the gift of play to the whole community, while also leaving a legacy for a loved one to treasure for decades to come.
Family bricks are $50 per 4-inch by 8-inch size and $100 for the 8-inch by 8-inch brick.
Business bricks range from $250 to $500 and may include a business logo.
All brick sizes allow for lines of text and a family brick can also accommodate a child’s artwork for an additional $25.
Engraved pickets will be used to build a fence around the play area for the younger children and are available for $100.
Another way to support the playground project is a component sponsorship, which is currently available starting at $800. Donors may select a specific piece of equipment to sponsor, such as a slide, a set of swings or monkey bars.
As the playground design includes more than 20 ADA-accessible features, allowing children of all abilities to play together, there are many elements from which to choose.
Those who contribute $5,000 or more may have a plaque installed near their component in their honor.
As of Thanksgiving, Warwick Playground Dreams has raised more than $225,000, but an additional $125,000 is still left to be raised to ensure that the playground may be as inclusive as possible.
Most of this budget must be raised by the end of February in order to purchase the materials needed for the playground’s Build Week in late April.
