Warwick Prevention thanks you
The Warwick Valley Community Center and the Warwick Coalition wishes to thank Master Doug Cook and Greg Siroco for their motivating speeches at the Middle School’s Red Ribbon Ceremony.
And thanks to the administrative staff, office staff, faculty and the PTA of the Warwick Middle School for their hard work and for allowing us to participate in their Red Ribbon Week activities.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the people of the Warwick area who dropped off between 250-300 pounds of pills on Saturday to the National Pill Take Back Day.
We appreciate the Warwick Advertiser and WTBQ for publicity that got the word out.
This community effort involved the Coalition members Officer Steve Helmrich, Steve Grandinali, Karen Thomas, and Annie Colonna of ADAC, John Heffner of the DEA, the Village Board, and the Chamber of Commerce.
A special thanks to JP Morgan Chase’s James Scott, Ekman Gershon, Monica Conway and others at the Bank for allowing us to use their parking lot.
If you missed this event and want to dispose of pills to keep the environment safe, the Middletown State Police accept them 7 days a week for confidential drop off.
