Vote for Shannon Hockswender

Shannon Hockswender worked at Kids Club House as a lead teacher for three years. Shannon is an involved, helpful parent who has a positive energy.

As a teacher she took her responsibilities in getting the children ready for kindergarten seriously. Our school has great reputation for how well prepared our preschoolers are for kindergarten and I appreciated Shannon s contributions in maintaining that reputation.

One of her strengths lies in knowing how to create personal connections with each child and their parents, which helps children to learn and grow as students. She demonstrated compassion and caring, made the children feel welcome, important and confident in their ability to learn.

Shannon contributed to our school program by connecting with the local Chamber of Commerce and the Warwick Valley Gardeners in an effort to develop fun, local activities for children to participate in at our town park.

She is a community-oriented and her dedication shows in all areas she becomes involved in.

My endorsement comes without reservation that Shannon will take her leadership skills forward into any position she obtains and will be an asset to the future success of the Warwick Valley School District.
