Vote for Hockswender and Gagliano

I have had the pleasure of knowing Shannon Hockswender as an educator, a parent and community member.

I became a fan observing her abilities as a gifted teacher. I now know her as a dedicated Sanfordville parent who has continued to help the public schools and students using her skills to better enrich programs in classroom and extracurricular activities.

Most recently, she has volunteered a significant amount of time to Parents For Change – Warwick, NY, an organization dedicated to connecting members of the community whose common interest is to preserve the standard of educational excellence in our school district.

Shannon has contributed efforts assisting the group with research, meetings and conversations in their lobbying and fund-raising efforts. She has always put the needs of the children first.

In all her endeavors, I have only witnessed above board ethics, sound and intelligent decisions, the purist of motivations to better our schools and programs, and the utmost level of professionalism exhibited at all times. She is someone I would trust to sit on the Warwick Valley School Board of Education, and I know she has the long term success and goals of our schools in mind.

I have also had the opportunity to sit down and meet with Eilleen Gagliano. She and Shannon have both impressed upon me that they will be two candidates vital to the future success of our district.

There are crucial decisions coming up in the next three-year term of the school board and we need candidates who have proven leadership, genuine intentions and demonstrated integrity that will put students above politics.
