Village concert series: A note in harmoney

Last week's letter to the editor regarding our position on the village concert series does not represent what we said.

To be clear: We support the Village of Warwick concert series.

I attend many of the shows. The mayor and Bill Iurato worked with us last year to present a free show on the green as part of the festival and were generous with scheduling concerns.

We believe all live music including the Music in the Courtyard Series adds value to the community.

What we did bring up was scheduling and consideration for venues that hire musicians.

We do not favor ending any music series of any style.

As in life and music I believe in harmony. In that spirit the interests and concerns of all can be addressed.
