This is why our nation is great

This past weekend, we laid to rest an American hero - John McCain. He served his nation during time of war with a courage that is hard to imagine.
He also served his nation in the political arena with a courageous maverick conviction seldom seen - always doing what he thought was right for our nation, regardless of political party pressures.
He was a patriot. He was a statesman. He was not perfect - none of us are.
But he was what is great in our nation.
