There’s no deadline for saying thanks

Last Dec. 19 a group of parents and scouts headed to St. Patrick’s School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. This amazing group of people brought toys to 50 children affected by Hurricane Sandy.

I just wanted to thank all of the wonderful people in our community for helping spread a little cheer to these children. This could not have been possible without all of the elves here in Warwick and in Beacon.

Thank you to Lydia vanDuynhoven, St. Stephen’s school and religious education students, Joe Chin, Vicki and the Barking Frog patrons for collecting all the toys

A big thank you to Roger Showalter for stopping in the middle of West Street to give me a donation.

Of course, all the elves in Warwick for bringing toys to my house during such a busy time of the year.

Also, a huge thank you for all the elves who helped to wrap either at home or at Cathy Randazzo’s. Those elves are Mikey and Matt Randazzo, Kate Vignola, Jack, Max, Luke and Leo Vignola, Eddie and Ryan Kerrisk, Jamie McLaughlin, Theresa Lowry-Episcopio and her daughter Jillian Lowry and Egan, Will and Brigid Danaher.

I know there are more of you and I can’t thank you enough.

The smiles and cheers from the kids at St. Patrick’s were the best thank you.
