The sounds of summer

Last week, I read in the Advertiser that there is a problem for some of the restaurants with the summer concerts.

They are concerned with less business during the times the concerts are held.

The village plans to change the time to afternoons to help out the business owners.

Ridiculous! I happened to mention this on my Facebook page and was deluged from friends all over the country with response.

All basically said, that art and food go hand in hand.

I trust there is some way to work this out so everyone is happy.

Maybe, food tents down on the Village Green or take out picnics for some of those restaurants?

So many Warwickians look forward to those cool summer nights of listening to great music. Towns and villages all across the country seem to be able to manage this.

There is no reason Warwick should deprive us of this great summer treat.
