The Friends of the Florida Public Library would like to thank everyone who helped make our fourth annual Spring Tea on June 3rd a success.
Sue Raia of Sue Chef provided the savory and sweet treats and Janet Picarelli of Janet’s Quality Baked Goods donated scones.
Drawing Prizes and Baskets were donated by local businesses including Amity Arts Pottery, Scissors Hair Salon, Northern Bear Pet Food and Supplies, New Beginnings Spa, Moon Stone Melody, Jensen’s Nursery, LuLa Roe, ShopRite of Chester Plaza, Walden Savings Ban, and the Florida Chamber of Commerce.
Diane Arcieri, Marie Arnstein, Hakimah Al-Zahra, Ashley Baroch, Friends of the FPL, Sarah Hoss, Anne Ossentjuk, Bob and Nancy Scott and Rochelle Weiler donated individual baskets.
We also thank Madelyn Folino for providing a lovely array of spring flowers from her garden and to the students from S.S. Seward Institute who provided table service.
Many thanks to Heather Gardner, local author, for her engaging talk on the art of writing her blog, “The Waiting is the Hardest Part,” and giving us a glimpse of her newest novel, "Already Home."
Finally, to the lovely women, many sporting fanciful hats, who came out to support the Florida Public Library and enjoyed a wonderful and elegant afternoon, thank you.
    Sincerely,
    Caroline Califf, President
