A few weeks ago my bike was stolen from my front porch on West Street.

I’ve lived here 21 years and parked my bike in the same spot for most of them and never worried.

The Warwick Advertiser let everyone know, the Warwick Police Department got a call, the bike was recovered and it’s back on the porch where it’s going to stay.

I’ll be selling my house soon. I hope whoever moves to 57 West Street will be as at ease and at home in our neighborhood as I have always been.

One person used bad judgment and ended up proving to me and the whole community what a great place Warwick is.

It seemed like everyone in the neighborhood took an interest and rallied to help out a neighbor.

Thanks to this great community, the Advertiser, the local cops and everybody involved in getting my old friend back home.

I love it here.
