Thanks for so many treats

The Florida Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the Florida Fire Department for providing a wonderful community night for our trick-or-treaters, young and old alike, as well as our four legged friends.

Between the rain drops, a fire engine playing spooky music led the parade North Main Street with the return of all our costumed marchers to a wonderfully decorated fire house.

Everyone was treated to cider, hot chocolate and plenty of treats (served up by Chamber of Commerce members).

Then the evening was topped off with a judging of costumes. Our four judges took their positions very seriously as it wasn’t easy to pick first, second and third places from the many amazing choices provided. There was judging in categories from babies to adults followed by pets.

All emceed by the incomparable Jeff Babcock, an FFD member.

The members of the committee received donations of:

Cider and donuts from Apple Ridge Orchards, 101 Jessup Road, Warwick.

Hay bales from Kimiecik Landscaping, Fox Road, Florida.

Pumpkins from Shuback Farms, Mt. Eve Road, Goshen.

Pet prize donations from Northern Bear Pet Food and Supplies, Route 17A, Goshen.

Handmade cupcakes by FFD member Ashley Dagele.

Stage and wagon delivery by Village of Florida Department of Public Works.

Thanks to all.
