Thank you, Warwick

As most of you know by now, Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe has been experiencing severe financial problems resulting in us being closed down for a day last week. This has been the worst year in our seven year history.
I was really feeling we had been deserted. But after the incident, the support we received by all you wonderful Warwickians, touched my heart and soul.
I felt like Sally Fields on winning her second Oscar: “You like me, you really like me.”
But we need your continued support to keep the doors opened. Shopping local should not be a one day a year event.
Shopping local should be a part of everyone's daily routine.
Remember Amazon.com does not support this community.
They do not sponsor any of our Community events, charities or fund raisers.
So before you click “add to cart,” you should ask yourself “can I get this in the village,” then put down that mouse and go downtown.
This not about a little bookstore on Main Street. It is about what we want our community be.
I want to especially thank Michael Newhard for his belief in this lovely community.
    Thank you again.
    Thomas G. Roberts
Proprietor of Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe
