I'm endorsing Christine Stage for Warwick Town Justice, and here is why.
Being summoned to court is generally not a desirable thing. It's likely to be the result of a dispute, a criminal act, a tragedy, ignorance or a series of poor decisions.
The courtroom experience can be protracted, confusing, heartbreaking and expensive.
A Town Justice and the court staff often see people at their most vulnerable point. What happens in the courtroom may impact the quality of life, livelihood and even the life span of the person standing in front of that justice.
Chris will follow the law, make good judgments and find ways to apply restorative justice.
Above all, she will create an atmosphere that preserves dignity and respect.
Chris recognizes the humanity of others, and operates from the principles of kindness and the golden rule. That is what I want in a Town Justice.
