Supporting Bob Howe

It is with great pride that I support Bob Howe in his quest for another term on the WVCSD School Board. Having sat in this position myself beside this incredible man...I will vouch for his integrity and dedication to our youth, support staff and teachers! Bob’s love of education and desire to carefully oversee difficult district budgets on behalf of the community are over-shadowed only by his passion for our children.

This coming year, the meticulous search for a new superintendent will be of the utmost importance and a district priority. For this very specific reason alone, the continuity of Bob’s 20 year experience as a board director is of critical significance. Bob has leadership knowledge for this task at hand, having been on 2 Superintendent search committees during his board tenure. This is a long, exhausting process that needs a level headed, systematic approach ... which Bob exhibits consistently.

Let’s face it, the role of a School Board member is not easy, nor glamorous, nor without long hours of unpopular decision making at times. To top that ... did you know that this is an elected “volunteer” position??? What I’m simply saying is this, Bob’s love for our town’s kids surpasses all levels of pubic abuse and challenges he faces on a regular basis. Bob’s ability to not get caught up in crises of the week is seen in his calm demeanor.

Do I think that Bob Howe should be re-elected to our WVCSD Board for these coming three years ... you’re darn right, I do!!

That’s a emphatic “Yes”!! Please join my vote of confidence in keeping Bob Howe as a driving leader of our school’s bandwagon.
