Support grows for the Warwick Community Kitchen

    Members of the Warwick United Methodist Church sponsored the Feb. 17 dinner of the Warwick Community Kitchen. Victoria Garloch, who organized the community kitchen in teh former Pine Island Elementary School, and Kelsey Sellers, a teen who organized the church volunteers for the February meal, share a moment of repose with the other volunteers following the dinner.

Thank you to the Warwick United Methodist Church who sponsored the Feb. 17 dinner of the Warwick Community Kitchen.

Kelsey Sellers, a WUMC teen, organized a team of volunteers from the church and BSA Venture Crew # 135 to provide food, chefs and servers for the dinner. The evening also included the guests visiting Vision Community Church’s clothing and coat bank as well as the book and toy room.

Evangeline Hala provided live entertainment and children enjoyed the new Nail Salon as well as other children’s activities.

If you would like to donate clothing, coats, books, toys or blankets, they can be dropped off at Vision Community Church, 20 Schoolhouse Road, Pine Island, on any Sunday between 9 a.m. and noon.
