Stolen statue returned

The Statue of The Madonna was returned this morning.

I received a call from Warwick Valley Schools telling me that the Statue of the Madonna was found on the school grounds by one of the maintenance workers the morning after it was stolen.

He brought it into the maintenance office, where they called the police. They held onto to it until they saw the letter in The Warwick Advertiser.

One of the employees called me and insisted that they bring it to me since “one of their students apparently stole it.”

Thanks to all those who helped in the statue's recover. It means a great deal to me.
