Steve Rubin for Village Trustee

Though I’m not a resident of the Village, I’ve lived just outside it for over thirty years and I’ve watched Warwick come alive on so many fronts. One has been the arts, and music being my specialty, I am just thrilled to see and be part of a burgeoning community of artists and performers of all types.

The most energetic, creative and motivated person in the arts whom I’ve met in the past few years and for whom I would like to recommend be elected to the Village Trustees is Steve Rubin.

Three years ago, after a gathering in which Steve met most of the town’s musicians, he decided we should have a jazz festival, and single-handedly at first, never wavering nor letting anyone discourage him, he gathered the music community together and started an annual Warwick Valley Jazz Festival, now in its third year.

We need people like him with vision and passion and energy to foster this kind of growth and development.

I can’t recommend anyone nearly as much as him, and I urge you to vote for Steve Rubin for Village Trustee.
